About

Jason Isbell Tour 2025

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit have recently announced the release of their upcoming album "Weathervanes," which will be available on June 9 via Southeastern/Thirty Tigers. The first single from the album, "Death Wish," has already been shared with the public.

After leaving the Southern rock band, the Drive-By Truckers, Isbell embarked on a successful solo career, earning respect and recognition within the alt-country and singer/songwriter communities. His music is imbued with Southern grit and showcases his introspective side and gift for nuanced storytelling. Isbell's early solo albums had a raw, rootsy feel, but after confronting his dependence on alcohol and drugs, his songwriting evolved, resulting in more profound and critically acclaimed work.

Isbell's discography includes his 2007 solo debut, "Sirens of the Ditch," 2013's breakthrough "Southeastern," and his 2021 album "Georgia Blue," which paid tribute to Georgia-born artists like R.E.M. and the Allman Brothers. He also participated in Martin Scorsese's adaptation of "Killers of the Flower Moon," alongside Jack White, Sturgill Simpson, Robert De Niro, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Meanwhile, The Head and the Heart had a busy 2022, releasing their fifth studio album, "Every Shade of Blue," and headlining sold-out shows across North America as part of their 2022 North American Tour. They also made multiple appearances on national television, including The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and performed at the championship banner drop for The Seattle Sounders.
